Combining her background in fine art and design, Friederike Delius creates unconventional pieces that playfully question our understanding of familiar objects, transforming their ordinary functionality into something extraordinary.

From her FOLDWORK series — equal parts sculptural wall art and functional clothing rack — to KNSTRKT — a Memphis-inspired collection of tableware that blends the qualities of industrial stackable tableware with the fun of building blocks — she consistently creates objects that both surprise and bring joy.

Since founding Studio Berg in 2014, Delius has been handcrafting her objects with her team in her Berlin studio. She collaborates with specialist manufacturers using high-quality craftsmanship and carefully selected materials. Over the years, Delius has worked with a broad spectrum of materials and revealed a penchant for crafting a diverse range of objects.
