Claudia Schoemig designs and handcrafts delicate porcelain objects for contemporary table settings and interiors, made to enrich and inspire everyday life. Uniting an au courant approach with rich experience in refined artisanal techniques and advanced production methods, Schoemig’s work is marked by its light and serene poetic nature. A characteristic feature are her linear hand drawings, which are permanently fired onto selected works. She is also known for her excellent skills in the rare and demanding process of hand throwing
porcelain. Moreover, she creates bespoke work and individual editions for various clients. AD Germany has listed her amongst the 50 best German Designers and her work has won several prizes, most recently the German Design Award.
